Vale John Bates

Sad news

It is with a very heavy heart that we share the news of the loss of John Bates.

John & Mim Bates have been involved with our art group since the very early days.

John was so very proud of his artistic family and he has nurtured their creativity. Mim Bates, Linda Bates and Deb Gillett - all wonderfully creative and accomplished artists have been active participants of our group for more than a decade. John was an extremely talented glass artist in his own right and created amazing pieces of art in kiln worked glass.

He was a good and kind man, generous with his time and knowledge and we will miss him.
