Following our AGM 2025 the meeting decided to expand our exec committee to a 5 member management team - our responsible officers are now..
President Harmony Teelow, Treasurer Pam Fay, Secretary Iris Crawford, committee members Debra Clancy & Terri Hanlon
Congratulations & welcome all!
It is indeed the end of an era!
after 25 years Judy Netterfield, Daryl Dickson & Jane Arnold are stepping down as signatories for our arts association and handing over to members of the new committee. Well done all and our thanks for your unwavering commitment to our wonderful arts community and our arts association over all these years. We have had some great times and really wonderful achievements. Libby Clegg is also standing down as our dedicated workshop coordinator - During the last 15years Libby & Noel have established the Cardwell ArtWorks Workshop Centre and our successful workshop program. We thank them for their commitment and dedication to community arts. Our thanks too Geoff Moffatt for being our "go to" person for anything slightly technical over the last 25 years, we would not have managed without you. We should also note that Carol Degnian, our long-term roster co-ordinator had to stand down earlier in the year due to serious health issues. She too has donated decades of service to the art group, We wish her well and thank Jane Reece for stepping in as Roster co-ordinator for the Cardwell Gallery. Thanks also to Heather Edwards for her continued commitment to Thursday Arts at the ArtWorks and to Lynn Crawford for continuing at Membership officer and to all our tireless volunteers who help make the wheels go around and art shine in Cardwell by the Sea.
"seasons of change & renewal" we can proudly look back at some "fabulous" exhibitions and events since 2001, a beautiful little gallery and a vibrant workshop program, years of dedicated team effort - a rewarding quarter of a century!
We wish the new committee all the best for the future of arts in Cardwell!
