ARTIST OF THE MONTH FOR NOVEMBER

The Cardwell Gallery is very pleased to welcome Kennedy residents Jonathan Dean and his associate Helen Hiscox who have recently joined Hinchinbrook Regional Arts Association Inc.

Jonathan bought his first SLR camera at age 19 and became passionate at being able to capture incredible moments in time. As the digital age dawned he realised the power that this new era of photography offered. For him the saying ‘the camera never lies’ no longer rings true; the camera merely captures the base canvas and allows him to reject its reality and substitute it with his own.

All these images on display have been captured and created by Jonathan. Some have been digitally manipulated and transformed while others are images which portray the beauty of the world in which we live.

All images are printed on high quality photo and fine art paper or canvas ensuring that vibrancy and colour are maintained.

This exhibition will be on display until the end of November – please direct all enquiries to the Cardwell Gallery 10am-2pm Tues – Sun.  Ph: 4066 2475
