Tropical north presents new challenges for artist

This months Cardwell Gallery Art exhibition in the Library foyer showcases works by Rosemary Cresswell now a resident of Cardwell after many years living in WA.

As primarily a landscape artist she has had to adapt from the colours that the Kimberley and Pilbara regions present to those of tropical North Queensland.  Whilst still coming to terms with that change Rosemary has been concentrating on her wildlife paintings which she particularly enjoys.

Rosemary has displayed her work in many different exhibitions both in Qld. and WA and hopes that when viewing her art it gives as much enjoyment as she has in creating each piece.

Cardwell Gallery is pleased to present this small example of the range of this artist whose work extends to sculptures murals pottery and all mediums of drawing and painting.

The exhibition will be open until October 8th. All enquiries to the Gallery please.
