Cornelius & Janet de Veth

Retired in 2005, sold Cornucopia and built at Tully Heads, do some work part time pottery and teach one morning a week.

Started ceramics full time in 1976

Small gallery and school in Stratford Cairns taught 5 nights per week.

Moved Cornucopia to Clifton Beach 1980.

Gave some 25 workshops in the next 10 years.

Moved to Tully Mission Beach road 1990 built a new gallery and home.

During this period we produced mainly work for the gallery and did a lot of commissions.  Including a 6x6 metre mural at the Cairns airport.

A smaller one for the Cairns Cane growers and one for the Royal Flying Doctors which has just recently been moved from Edge Hill to the RFDS new base at Cairns Airport.

We are represented in many galleries and won some 31 awards.
